Abstract

The criminal justice administrative system governs the rules of activities essential to be followed by the citizens of the society. The mechanism of criminal justice is functioning by making arrest, interrogating, framing charges and awarding punishments to the subjects of the society who break the indispensable rules of the state. The role of police is decisive because the police are functionary in criminal justice administrative system. Legislations elaborate the obligations of the police, like crime control, enquiry of offences, ensuring law and order and safeguarding fundamental rights.
