AV Research Centre for International & Comparative Law & Policy (AVRC-ICLP), in collaboration with Aequitas Victoria Research Centre, Bihar, is organising the 2nd International Gender Justice Conference on the topic "Prospects and Challenges in Enforcing Gender Justice in the Contemporary New World Order: A Multidisciplinary Approach" in observance of World Humanitarian Day 2026 on 23rd August, 2026 (Sunday) with Lawctopus as Media Partner and Lawctopus Law School as Knowledge Partner.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
As Ban Ki-moon stated, “Achieving gender equality requires the engagement of women and men, girls and boys. It is everyone’s responsibility.” Recognizing this responsibility, efforts by way of this Conference have been made to reconcile academic discussion in the process of theory building and analyzing the transformations that the concept of gender justice has undergone over the last few decades at the global level. The concept of gender justice ensures gender equality in all aspects related to human development within society. However, the parameters for ensuring gender justice and their significance in the contemporary phase of sustainable development have evolved through different phases and across different sections of ideologies. Therefore, ways for addressing the conflicts between the divergent analogies of gender-based concepts and the gap that exists between policies aiming for gender equality and the achievement of their objective, in reality, are required to be identified. In addition, the diversity of cultural attributes across different societies has given different meanings to the concepts of gender and gender justice as a result of which a uniform understanding of such concepts becomes necessary for adopting a holistic and consolidated approach to counter the multidimensional issues of gender-based inequalities. Considering all these requirements, this Conference is expected to provide a platform for academic discussions on the various aspects of gender justice in the contemporary world.
ABOUT AVRC-ICLP
The AV Research Centre for International & Comparative Law & Policy (AVRC-ICLP) is a specialized research centre established under the Aequitas Victoria Research Centre (AVRC), an initiative of the Aequitas Victoria Foundation. The Centre is dedicated to advancing scholarship, policy research, and academic engagement in the fields of International Law, Comparative Law, and Public Policy. International law plays a critical role in regulating relations among states, international organizations, businesses, and individuals, while comparative law facilitates the study and understanding of diverse legal systems and traditions across jurisdictions.

The Aequitas Victoria Research Centre is a research platform of the Aequitas Victoria Foundation (Registered under Societies Registration Act 21 of 1860, India), a non-profit making and non-governmental organization that aims for making justice accessible to everyone. As rightly said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”, therefore it is one of the prime objectives of the organization to serve the best interest of justice to the fullest extent possible through various initiatives. Then, all the Paper Presenters are required to register through the Registration Form and Paper Presenters shall separately submit their papers through the full paper submission button.

The Judges, Advocates, Academicians, irrespective of any discipline, Research Scholars, Students, or any other professionals who have done any research or any activities in the field of Law can participate in this Conference.

All submitted Abstracts shall be published in a Book of Abstracts;
All the Paper Presenters shall be provided with a Certificate of Presentation
Selected papers shall be published in an International ISSN Journal named Annual Journal of International and Comparative Law & Policy (AJICLP) e-ISSN: 2583-1437 and other papers will be published in ISBN Book and a Soft Copy of the Book shall be made available for free;

All the above themes are not exhaustive. Participants are free to choose any other topic that falls within the domain of the main theme of the Conference.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The participants shall strictly adhere to the following guidelines:
Co-authorship for each paper is allowed for up to two authors;
No single author can submit more than one abstract;
The abstract shall be separately typed in, or pasted into the Abstract Submission Google Form:
After acceptance of the abstract, the authors are required to register by paying the registration fees.
Note: Receipt of payment of Registration fees has to be uploaded on the Registration Form. A provision for Early Bird Registration has been provided.
After the process of registration is completed, final papers are to be submitted.
All submissions shall be made within the scheduled date
FORMATTING GUIDELINES FOR PAPERS
The research papers shall adhere to the following formatting guidelines:
The length of the paper shall not be less than 3,000 words and more than 5,000 words;
The paper shall have an abstract of a maximum of 250 words with four to six keywords;
The Heading of the paper shall be typed in Capital, Bold, Font Size 16, Times New Roman, centrally aligned;
The main body shall be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12, Line Spacing 1.5, Justified Aligned;
Sub-headings shall be in Bold but shall not be in capital with Font Size 12, Line Spacing 1.5, Justified Aligned;
Sub-Sub Headings shall be in italics with Font Size 12, Line Spacing 1.5, Justified Aligned,
Sub-sub-sub-Headings shall be numbered with roman numerals;
Images shall be centrally aligned and with clarity, and authorities shall be duly cited wherein case if images are self-created then such images shall be mentioned in the Footnote Section;
All charts and tables shall be center-aligned, and the authorities shall be duly cited;
OSCOLA 4th Edition shall be used for citation, and footnotes shall be in Times New Roman, Font Size 10, Justified aligned, and Single Line Spacing.
