Virtual town halls on account of Michigan Auto Insurance law

3rd January 2021: State is introducing virtual town halls in favour of Michigan auto insurance law changes to drivers. New virtual town halls also allow the Michigan drivers to ask questions related to the new auto insurance law. The law brings a brought different choices for all the drivers to get into the insurance coverage without any penalties , If the English themselves before January 1,2022. State had introduced the amnesty period to enlist those who had not yet apply for the new auto insurance law. The new version of auto insurance policy that was signed into law in 2019 and has been improvised in 2020 and this summer.



According to the law, the payment of $220 per vehicle that would go to the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association to handle medical Expenses for injured people in serious car accident. The payment of the insurance policy, which is led to the association predicting a surplus amount of $5 billion by November. Therefore Governor Gretchen Whitemer called to the refund of the surplus amount in favour of the drivers. In favour of the surplus policy, drivers are now paying $86 per vehicle instead of $220. The refunds are linked with the new law and that went come into effect from this year. The town halls are at 6:00 PM on December 14, and noon on December 15.
